Moto X gen1 device – Faulty device many issues not repairs

This is to bring to your notice a grave issue I have been facing with my Moto X gen1 device. My phone bricked in December 1st week, 2014 and I submitted it at the Pune service center. I got my device after 1 and a half months post which battery issues persisted. Knowing that Motorola takes a min. of 30 days for repair, I didn’t re-submit my device for repair till May 2015.I needed a smart phone for my day to day activities and I was somehow managing with an additional battery pack. Next time I gave it on 11th May at Dadar service center and got the device only on 15th June. Unfortunately, after all the days of repairs, the problem still persists. The battery drain from 100% to 40% in just 2 hours and then slips to 2% from 40 and switches off. The device keeps heating up by itself. The matter of concern here is that my battery is swollen and going by the track record, swollen batteries have a probability of exploding. I’m just appalled that after submitting my device twice and keeping it at the service center for a total of 2 and a half months in my 8 months ownership and after a million calls to the call center, nothing is being done about the issue. I’m convinced that the device is faulty as after 60+ days of servicing and change in motherboard, the problem still remains.

I have 2 options: 1. Replace with a new Moto X gen 2 device. Home deliver it to me and take the Moto X device back. 2. Refund the cost of my device plus Rs. 10,000 for the multiple rounds of going to service centre and wasting my time there.
