This is with regards to my MTNL landline no. 022-261691XX at Ram Mandir Complex, opp. Shantidoot Bunglow, Subhash Road, Vile Parle (East), Mumbai-400057 which I am having it for more than 25 years. After vigouras follow up, the instrument was replaced (repaired one and not new)about 1 year back and from the past 15 days, the instrument is faulty once again; I am unable to hear anything on the phone. I have complained on 26162198 as well as online on www.mtnlmumbai.in. The online system provides a docket no. for instance docket no. 5246 in one such instance of complaint booking and surprisingly when I query for the status of the complaint online, the complaint is stated as being resolved. The lineman visited my residence today and after checking the instrument acknowledged the instrument fault and informed us to pay Rs. 400/- and get the instrument. I have been paying all the bills in or before time always and still I am getting such service. There is no alternate but surrender the connection it self.
