Purchased a Murphy Richards Steam Iron Wave 400 vide invoice no. 5650 dated 06 Mar 2013. Only on using the iron for 2nd time its temperature regulator malfunctioned and got overheated. My new bedsheet got stuck to its bed plate which was suppose to be non stick. Handed over the iron to the dealer on 04 Apr 2013. I was not given any receipt for the same. After a weeks time i.e. on 12 Apr 2013, the dealer sent the Murphy Richards service guy with the repaired Iron. But the base plate of the iron was still in the same damaged state. I refused to take the iron in that state. There after the service guy Mr Lucky took the iron and till date there is no update. I called the service guy and the dealer today i.e. 18 Apr 2013 but nobody is giving any convincing answer.

The iron should be replaced with a new iron and they should pay the damages of atleast Rs 5000/- for their poor quality product, poor service, and my damaged deewan set apart from the mental disturbance caused to me and my family.
