In order to renew my motor car insurance policy no. 35101031116130930624 with National Insurance company ltd., for my Maruti car. Reg. No. DL 2C AC 6281, I had signed a ‘ proposal for insurance ’ for renewal of insurance on 19.2.2013 at their agent’s office at Competent Automobile Co. ltd. Ghazipur , Delhi, and payment made vide OBC bank cheque no. 186697 dt. 20.3.13 for Rs. 4388/- in favour of National Insurance Company ltd., and the amount was debited from my a/c on 25.3.2013. The National Insurance company ltd. has not so far delivered the Certificate cum Policy Schedule to me, despite my complaints to them on 12.4.2013 and 19.4.13. They simply say that “ As per MI arrangement, the insurance policy will only be issued by the Maruti Dealer instead by NIC. You are requested to contact Maruti dealer Competent Automobiles Gazipur for the desired policy document.” Since they are the beneficiary of payment made by me and responsible under the Motor vehicles Act for claim etc, they can not simply stay away from discharging their legal and lawful duty to issue and deliver the Certificate cum Policy Schedule to me, by asking the customers to run after the automobile dealers for the document which is to issued under the stamp and the signature of the Insurance company i.e. National Insurance Company ltd. Kindly use your good offices, intervene in the matter and persuade them to deliver the Certificate cum Policy Schedule to me immediately.
The National Insurance Company ltd. should deliver a, duly stamped and signed, Certificate cum Policy Schedule to me immediately.
