Dear Sir, I am not at all satisfied with the amount paid by NEW INDIA ASSURANCE against my insurance claim no.9283729. My police number is 151600/34/13/25/00002243. I met an accident on 30th june 2014 for which I received treatment in World Laproscopic Hospital, Gurgaon. My claimed amount was Rs.118134 but I received only Rs. 38536. I am totally disagreed against this arbitrary settlement. Against my room rent claimed amount i.e Rs 45000, you have paid only Rs 11042, that is also on the name of hospital charges. It was mentioned that, entitle room rent 79.16%. Meaning of this is not clear. If you will pay only 79.16% then also it will be Rs.35622, Even no one have informed me that I am not entitled for room rent what i was paying while my treatment. Since I was critical at the time hence, I was admitted in the said room having life saving facilities. I had severe head injury, broken ribs bleeding internal organs, hence the room in which i was shifted was very needful for saving my life. Against my claimed pharmacy charge of Rs.14984, Rs.2613 was deducted, reason given was, details not available. Since the very first day I was asking the agent about documents I have to submit, and I have submitted all the documents asked by him to submit. No one have ever asked me to give detail of medicines, I must have submitted it if I would have asked to do so. What are the miscellaneous charges? when I have given every detail then which charge is being mentioned as miscellaneous charge. In that too the reason was given, entitle room rent 79.16%. At how many place you will mention the same reason. the amount claimed was Rs.15800 but what was given is only Rs.4105. This is totally Arbitrary. According to you Surgery Charge was claimed was Rs.2500. But i claimed it in the form of Nursing care Rs.3000, O.T. FEE Rs.5000, Operation Fee Rs.5000, Anesthesia Fee Rs.5000.Dressing charges Rs.7500, Oxygen Rs.3000. Surgical Implant Rs.2500, pulse oxy-metre Rs.2500. Since it is a clear fact that that i suffered a head injury for which the surgury was must. which must have to be done in Operation Theater after providing proper anesthesia and dressing. And none of the service is free and all of them was must to be performed.And Doctor is not the ony person who is present at the time of operation, there is team all of whom have their own fee. Consultant charge claimed was Rs.25000, i.e Rs 20000 as doctor visit and Rs. 5000 as R.M.O visit. but what I got is only Rs. 4168. How a patient can be treated without a doctor? and there is no hospital where doctor will provide his service free of cost.As per Hospital rule there A doctor always have same consultancy charge for all the rooms, it do not varies according to the room rent,they have same fee for all the patients. I met accident at janakpuri and was referred to gurgaon by the doctor himself. I was carried over there in an ambulance for which I paid Rs.8000, I haven’t claimed that amount as I haven’t had any
