Sub: LOSS DUE TO FIRE IN OUR SHOP. D.O.L. – 28/29-04-2012

Dear Sir,

This is to put on record that we had a fire in our shop Lokpriya in Varanasi on 28/29 April 2012, the same was acknowledge on 30/04/2012 at your the New India Assurance Company Limited at your shanti market Lahurabir branch, at Varanasi.

As and when we have received the relevant documents from the concerned authorities the same was given to the Branch Manager Mr. K.N.Gupta & the surveyor Mr. Mishra when asked. The same was acknowledged. Also for your information the surveyor has completed the survey report to his satisfaction. The point we are also making that all documents were demanded at long intervals but all the same we have given, lot of excuses were given time and again that the documents were not in order for e.g.(the date is not mentioned in the balance sheet etc, etc,)the damaged goods on the advice of the Br. Manager & the surveyor are still lying in our shop the condition of the goods are getting bad to worst adding to pollution etc. which can be dangerous and is of no use ,occupying large expensive space. The above fire was mentioned in all the major newspaper with photographs in Varanasi.

All past & current manager and concerned people as well as the above surveyor are not willing to meet and are giving excuses to avoid coming to any decision which is giving us mental trauma and is affecting my health now. It now seems the intention of the authority is not very clear.

I will request you to look into the matter urgently and let me now the status of the same, since there is no progress at all.
