I have purchased Nissan Sunny XL Petrol car Model LPM1, Chasis No MDHBBAN17C1006099, Engine No 759865A from Nath Motors Private Limited, A 30, Mohan Coperative Industrial Estate, Mathura Road, New Delhi-110044 vide invoice no NATH12000017 dated 11th April 2012 at a price of Rs. 7,05,141/- The vehicle is covered by the NISSAN Warranty for a period of 2 years or upto 50,000 K and the same has been further extended for another two years from the expiry of original warranty period i.e. up to 10-04-2016 or 80,000 Km vide Extended Warranty Policy Number 21204345460 dated 17-04-2012. The warranty covers free of charge repair or replacement of any part of the NISSAN car which proves to be defective in material or workmanship by authorized NISSAN dealer. I have been facing the problem of an intermittent sound coming out of rear side of the vehicle while applying the brakes. The sound coming out of the rear braking system is not the frictional sound and is quite similar to one seen with the heavy vehicles like Trucks and Buses when they apply brake in full loaded conditions. The sound seems like building-up/release of some pressure while applying the brakes. The sound is quite audible with the naked ear but the frequency of the sound is such that it is not getting recorded with normal sound recorder available with smart phones or digital cameras. The sound while applying brakes indicates a defective braking system which needs to be repaired by Nissan Motors through their authorized service center, free of cost, as per the terms of warranty. This problem of braking sound start coming in March 2013 and the same was reported to M/s ICHIBAAN motors private limited, authorised service center of Nisssan Motors, on 20th April 2013 while giving the vehicle to them for second free service. The vehicle was services and returned back on 20th April and payment of service was made vide receipt no FIAB13000259 dated 20-4-2013. It seems that nothing was done to rectify the problem and the sound was still coming while I was coming back after taking delivery of the vehicle. The same was reported back on the next day telephonically to the service advisor of Ichibaan Motors. The vehicle was taken back to Service Centre on 4th May 2013 for repair of the defect causing sound while applying brakes. While taking the trial, the braking sound was not witnessed by the service center personal. I was told to send the sound recording of the braking sound to Ichibaan Motors so that the same can be examined. The sound was recorded and sent by email to Ichibaan Motors and Nissan Motors on 13th May. Nissan Motors assigned the ticket No MAICHIMUM2013051456987 to the issue reported. The vehicle was taken back for repair to Ichibaan Motors on 15th May. The braking sound was witnessed by the service personal also while taking the trial but he could not record the braking sound.
