Nokia Lumia 620 – Consumer Performance Review

I purchased Nokia Lumia 620 from Nokia Priority dealer in Bhilai (Chhattisgarh). From the the very first week, handset was having some issues with the touch panel and it used to restart many times automatically. On reporting to Nokia care center in Bhilai (C.G), they repaired the phone. Ironically, the problem was not fixed, rather it ended up with some new problems like overheating, dust penetration into the screen, etc.

I had to visit Nokia care service center many times (around 10 times) and was no able to use the phone, which proved to be a huge economic loss and time killing for me as phone is a very crucial part of my work.Nokia care promised to fix the problem, claiming that phone would be sent to their head office and kept my phone for 15 days. Again after receiving the phone, the problem persisted. One more time they kept my phone for 1 month, promising to send my phone to head office and get it replaced. On the contrary , they didn’t replace the faulty phone rather they gave me the same repaired phone.This time the handset came with dangerous faults which could actually prove fatal to the user.It started vibrating automatically and heating incessantly, until we remove the battery.On taking the phone to Nokia care , they kept my phone for 10 more days and i requested the authorities to get it replaced otherwise this deadly fault may cause the phone to blast. Moreover i called the senior executives of Nokia at their head office, requesting replacement for the same, but was in vain, as they don’t understand customer’s plight and again sending me the same repaired handset. This is a matter of great concern that even after sending my phone to their head office more than 3 times and keeping it for more than 60 days in total, they are giving me the same faulty handset.
