I purchased a Nokia handset (Lumia-630) worth Rs. 9999/- on 28/09/2914 from Jumbo electronics, Jaipur. Its showroom is at ‘World Trade Park’ , 2nd floor. I asked their people to install whats app, email accounts, Facebook etc. They did it. Since i have already purchased a Samsung handset for my wife from the same shop so i didn’t check my handset. I am a Real estate agent and i had to move out of station that day so i went. Now, from next day i started facing problem with my handset like display problem, sudden switched off, many of my investors complaint that i was not reachable. When i returned back i went to the same shop & told them the problems. Then it came to my knowledge that its display was not functioned and phone was getting off by its own. I asked them for the solution. They now started teaching me that Sales and Service are two different things. Go to Nokia Care and ask them. I rushed to Nokia Care because being a Real Estate agent my work was getting affected and many of my clients was not able to reach me since my phone was off. Nokia care people told me to leave my phone there and either it will take 24 hours or 15 days to resolve the problem. I felt cheated like i purchased a non-functioned handset from Nokia and now they want me to stop all my work and run Dealer to Nokia care, Nokia care to dealer. I said i want a new handset or get my money back. Nokia care said go and talk to Dealer. i went back back to dealer, parked my car, paid again 40 Rs for parking. I asked to replace handset, dealer said that’s none of our business. You should have check the handset first. I said how would a person know without using it. When i argued them to to replace the handset, they all people were gathered around me and tried to threatened me and said Get lost and go to Consumer court or do else you wanna do. One of my friend was with me, it all happened in front of him. I pulled out my sim card and gave them my handset and came out of his shop. They didnt even try to stop me and talk to me. Now my phone is off since i have already sold my old handset. My business is getting affected, i am facing a heavy loss. I don’t know what to do. Kindly do something as nobody will face such trouble.
