Nokia – Microsoft Sold Faulty LUMIA-520 handset – Review

I had bought a NOKIA Lumia-520 phone on 1st july 2013. Its performance was not good from the beginning.On march 15th 2014 ,i took it to the customer service centre where they replaced my battery and charged 700/- .The phone was not getting started when i brought it home.again visited the service centre,they started pointing out different probabilities and got a job-sheet signed.they gave me an approx budget of 3200/- and said they would later intimidate me the exact problem.I had given them the clear indications that they should start with the servicing only when I give them the approval.(As I felt the cost:benefit ratio too high)I did not want to waste 3200+700 for a phone whose current market price is approx 8000/- the Nokia service Centre did not contact me,and went ahead with their servicing(without my approval). They called me up on 11th april,2014 to say that I am compelled to pay the charges. i cannot afford paying such a huge amount and that too when the fault is of the company. The phone which I was given was a faulty and ill-manufactured piece.

The phone’s cost was 9900. It was not even a year old. I have to pay 3200+700 in order to get it repaired. I would have to pay for the fault of the company’s ill-manufactured handset.

I would want a written apology from the company first. Thereafter I would want them to replace their faulty handset. They would compensate for the mental agony through I passed They should compensate for the economic damege they have caused. They should compensate for befooling and traumatizing a customer. They should compensate for the trouble they have caused. They should compensate for making monetary gains after drilling through the pocket of a common man who works hard to earn money
