Non Availablity of Sony LCD TV Spares

I own a Sony LCD TV whose model number is BRAVIA KLV-40S310A which has been out of order since 5th August 2016 till date as Sony has expressed their inability to provide parts. Their authorized centre has responded after 10 days expressing its inability to repair the TV as Sony India has refused to send it parts. Sony India customer care has maintained silence apart from the usual holding reply to my emails . The Job ID of the repair work as raised by the service centre which is tracked by Sony too is J61894298. I have raised it on their facebook pages but yet again wishy washy reply of we will get back to you in due course. Its been 3 weeks that my TV has been out of order .

My TV has been rendered out of service and if Sony is allowed to infringe my consumer rights by maintaining its refusal to supply spares then I would have to junk my TV . How can Sony refuse to supply spares for a 7-8 year old TV? We cannot be at the mercy of its sudden decision to only sell LED TV and not LCD TV in India. Due to this , I have to now buy a new TV if Sony does not provide spare parts . This is ridiculous

Sony India has to repair my TV by providing me with the requisite spares else they have to provide adequate compensation.
