Dear Sir /Mam
I would like to inform you that I am a very old Airtel customer from Gorakhpur UP East today 04th Jan 2012 around 5 PM, when I made a outgoing call ,I come to know that by the IVR recorder that my number +91 9935018164 has been bared. When I called First time to customer care with my alternative number +91 9935822804 around 05:15 and asked this issue to CSE, He informed me that your number is bared because of document verification. After this I asked him how you or AIRTEL can barred a number without informing your customer ,He replied you have been informed by us ,then again I asked to give me details when ? . After that he put the call on hold and it got disconnected after some time, as I believing. It is very common practice CSE.
Then I made Secondary call to Airtel Customer care around 05:25 again I talked with another the CSE ,he replied the same, Then again I asked the same question THAT WITHOUT INFORMATION HOW AIRTEL CAN BARRED MY CALL the he replied the you have been inquired by some hot line enquires and it was not satisfactory so your number is barred. But there was no such calls or any message we received .I asked the details he said I cannot provide you, what maximum I can do that I can transfer your call to my senior and he transfer the call to Senior CSE. When I asked him I want to know when I was informed or asked by Airtel for Document verification from any medium via call or SMS. He Replied what I advise you sir is you can go summit your document and activate your number .or you can E mail Airtel.
After this conversation I receive two SMS on +91 9935018164 from AD-airtelMO (Subjecting thanks you for contacting airtel your request reference number is CWBAR 20104378675) at 05:37 PM 04/01/12 /05:41 PM 04/01/12 for your info.
Now as per his advice I am contacting Airtel and I want my problem to be solution.
Why my number is barred without informing us?
If it was inform by any medium via call or SMS I want the details?
AS per Indian telecom law no number can be activated without satisfactory verification prove ,if there was no satisfactory prove along with this number +91 9935018164 then how it was proving service from around last 6 years or above ?
What airtel document control or back office team is doing ,instead of searching their own record they are advising the network team to barred the number isn’t.
Is Airtel thinking that the customer has no work and they are free for all time for document verification? So this is the very simple method to bar the call and they will do the rest of job?

For your info we already submitted the same verification prove around 3 years ago for this number which was given at the time of number activation. (Driving License Name Farid Ahmed ) Now why to summit again ? And If It is by Government order we have 6 Airtel connection in my house, why this not happen to all of them, why this particular number is embattled.
AS per my knowledge you have access to listen all calls I will advise to listen it out .
Kindly make my number activated otherwise I shall switchover to another network along with 2 D2H & will seek shelter of Consumer Court.
