Panasonic A.C – lost the refrigerant gas and expressed his inability

Respectfully this is to state that on 16.01.2013 I purchased three(3) Panasonic 1 ton split Air Conditioners from one M/S Khosla Electronics situated at 371/1, Diamond Harbour Road, Kolkata-700034 ( record enclosed). All A/Cs have same Model No. CU-YC12NKYPN. After the purchase I found three warranty cards and three free servicing coupons for each machine. The warranty period was stated for 1 year and three free services will be provided in the warranty period. The purchase took effect in the winter season and the machines were not in operation for a long period at a stretch as done in summer. During the end of March or early in April, 2013 I noticed that one of the three machines is not performing well like other two machines. The matter was informed to the customer helpline of Panasonic India and they send one service people to see the matter. After inspection, he concluded that the troubled machine has lost the refrigerant gas and expressed his inability to solve the problem on that day. On my request he examined the cooling effect of other two machines and took three free service coupons from me for three machines. After a gap of some days another service people came at my place and examined the troubled machine for a long hours and refilled the gas. On that day he could not get time to examine other two machines. He took back another free service coupon on that day. The troubled machine again showed less cooling effect after a gap of 3-4 months. The matter was again informed to the helpline and a service people attended and again observed that the machine has lost its refrigerant gas content. After some days he returned back and again inserted the gas in the machine and assured me about good performance of the machine in future. I informed him that my warranty is going to be expired in coming months and what shall I do if the machine shows this problem again. He assured me that I should not be worried about warranty period if the same problem occurs in future. At this juncture I requested the service people and the Panasonic India through their Helpline to replace the machine. But in every occasion they remained silent in this matter. The service people also not attended for free services which they cannot perform in earlier visits due to lack of time. They spent all their attending times in repairing the troubled machine. Winter again approached. The Warranty period expired within the winter period. In March, 2014, i.e. after 3-4 months of the last service the troubled machine again show less cooling effect and it is presumed again the machine lost its refrigerant gas content as showed in other two occasions. It is presumed that the machine has inherent problem in holding the gas like other two installed machine and the service people made cosmetic repairing in two occasions to end the warranty period. After informing the matter to the Co. this time, they informed that I have to pay the charges for repair. I told them that it is the

1. Replacement of the malfunctioned machine and/or compensation of Rs.50000 for creating trouble and harassment. 2. To provide due free services to other machines because free service was not provided by the service people for not of any fault from our side.
