This is a complaint regarding my daughters passport application submission as PSK office Kanpur, UP. I had applied for my daughters passport online vide application number ARN 13-0008819448 and paid the due fees. My daughter had put her job description as working in PSU as she is currently employed with Baroda Gramin Bank which is under bank of baroda a nationalized bank. On her first appointment on 02-09-13, she was returned back from the office as she was asked to bring a NOC certificate from the bank. After she got the NOC, she again took an appointment on 16-01-2014 and reached passport office on time and this time again she was rudely returned back by ARO Mr. M.P. Jaiswal with the excuse that the bank is not a nationalized bank list provided to them. She requested them that first of all, it is a PSU bank. She has got her employment with all india entrance exam of IBPP and secondly it is a nationalized bank undertaking. Not only the officer refused to listen, he did not even allowed her to re-fill the form and apply again the same date as she has to take a leave and have to travel kanpur braving the fog and chill and did not wanted to travel again. But officer asked her to submit a fresh application and again take an appointment and come back again. Now, he firstly said there is no complaint book available where she can file the complaint and secondly he refused to tell her how she can get her previous applications money back. This is sheer negligence. Had the officer in the first appointment had told that she is not a PSU employee as per passport office guideline, she could have taken care of the thing second time. The officer was rude, un-civilized and did not bothered about the harrasment faced by the consumer. I demand, that application should be allowed to be edited or the previous applications money be refunded along with the compensation of the money we had to expend commuting 2 times.
