Philips TV Repair Service – Consumer Review

This is to bring into your kind notice that I have called an engineer from Philips company in Dec 2014 to get my old TV repaired. Mr Fateh Khan (engineer) came to repair the TV but he hardly knows anything. While he was repairing the TV, he called up Mr Salem (Owner of penguin services) who explained the the things to Mr fateh Khan. Penguin services is the authorized distributor of Philips At first instance Mr Fateh Khan charged Rs 700/- for replacing 2 small capacitors. Moreover, he never bothered to give the replaced parts Mr Salem completely guided Mr Fateh Khan (engineer) over the phone and the engineer followed his steps to repair but when we put on the TV after 2 hrs and found that the condition of TV has been detroited. When I enquired Mr Salem about Mr fateh khan and found that the Mr Fateh Khan (engineer) holds only diploma for the same. Our repeated requests to Mr salem to send some good qualified engineer are all in vain. After 1st complaint, we did so many complaints to philips company but to no avail. For your reference, I am mentioning the complaint numbers below: Complaint No – PDEL2412140130 dated 24th Dec 2014 which was closed without proper resolution on 26th Dec 2014 Complaint No – PDEL2712140126 dated 27th Dec 2014 – No action has been taken Ref No – 50-1833997267 dated 2nd Jan 2015 Ref No – 50-1841291116 dated 8th Jan 2015 Complaint No – PDEL0801150101 dated 8th Jan 2015 – No action has been taken Ref No – 50-1848906026 dated 13th Jan 2015 I am an old man of 66 years who is harrased by Mr salem, Mr Fateh Khan and philips staff. After complaining, I have received several call from philips call centre / customer care but they are not ready to understand the concern. They are taking side of Mr Salem. I can explain rest of the things over the phone.

I am 66 yrs old man who is harassed by MR salem and his staff. I have gone through mental agony, stress. I demand Compensation for harassment, mental torture and cheating plus restoration of TV free of cost. Since there was no resolution from the company in 3 weeks, I have no option left to buy a new TV which added a big hole in my pocket. I kept that money for my medical treatment.
