I have posted an Ad in Quikr.com to sell my old Dining Table (Glass top). I got an offer from a Buyer who was interested to buy my old Dining table. Buyer paid the amount to Quikr and as per Quikr’s service it will do a free pick-up from the Seller and deliver it to Buyer. Ad Details Ad ID: 272520612 Posted date: 17-Jul-2016 Upon multiple reminders after 5 – 6 days, the Quikr Pick-up Van came my home to take the Dining table. The pick-up Van driver refused to take the Dining table with him as it is of Glass top saying it may break and risk is involved. Later I called the Customer Care of Quikr and they assured me that they will send another Pick-up Van next day to take the Dining table. After couple of days when no Van has come to pick, I called Customer care number again and they told me that the Buyer who was interested to buy the table has Cancelled the transaction. But when I checked with Buyer by chat why he cancelled, he told me that he did not Cancel it was Quikr who Cancelled the transaction. Quikr lied to me and gave me false and misleading information that Buyer cancelled actually it was their inability due to which they cancelled, I have uploaded the image of the Dining table while posting the Ad and they could have told me at that time itself that this is a sensitive item and it may break. But after waiting for a month and when a Buyer was interested then they came up with this silly reason. Atleast if they would have told me that they cannot take risk as it is a glass table, then I would have taken risk myselves. Now again I have to search for a new buyer to sell my old Dining table.

I want my dining table to be sold and delivered by Quikr.com as early as possible. If they cannot do it then they have to pay me the damages of Rs 7000/- which I lost by not selling my table at this price.
