Reliance Life Insurance documents not delivered and loan not disbursed

About four months back, I received a call from Reliance Finance in Kolkata (Mr Arindam and Ms Dipti Singh; 033-3262-0479 & 093784490700) who stated that I can avail of a personal loan of Rs 3,00,000/- subject to approval on submission of some documents and investing 10% of the loan amount in Reliance Life Insurance Co. My loan was approved as intimated to me vide file no. RAFC/BL/92-42/99 for Rs 3,00,000/-(three lac) only and thereafter my cheque for the Reliance Life Insurance Premium (Rs 30,000/- vide crossed cheque no.000034 on Standard Chartered Bank, Bidhan Sarani Br, Kolkata) was en-cashed by them on 1st June 2013. However, most unfortunately, the policy documents have till date not being delivered to me. On calling the concerned office from where I was initially called they told me that the documents were returned undelivered. I asked them for the courier tracking no but they were unable to provide the same. They said that the same would be redelivered but that is yet to materialize. At this point the persons in the office started avoiding me and they stopped picking up my phone. Being naturally aggrieved, I started scouring the internet where I found similar incidents of persons being duped by Reliance. I am writing to you in the hope of a favourable disposition and payout of my loan or return of the invested amount in the Life Insurance premium failing which I will go to the consumer courts and other legal avenues open to me. It is most shameful that a company as reputable as Reliance could resort to such degrading gimmicks to woo insurance. As for me, I will shun all things Reliance and go about a public outcry if my case is not resolved.
