had paid Rs 12581 for Reliance Online Term Plan . My Application no. M0074716. As i am suffering from polio they are asking for Extra Premium of Rs.5823/ I am working IT professional with full time employee in Capgemini India Pvt ltd , Vikhroli Mumbai. I asked for medical justification for extra premium charged . On which Mr Hariharan from underwriting team said that disable people are more prone to accidents and there for they are charging extra premium. I argued that as polio is not life threatening disease they cannot ask for extra premium. On this they are not agreeing.

I would like Reliance to provide me the term plan without any extra premium and need a compensation of Rs 10 lakh for the mental agony which had been as a result of this process and communication. Also want to to make sure that this does not happen with any disabled person.
