Reliance Tele – Internet Connection Is Off No Service – Review

On May 10, 2014 (Saturday) I noticed that my internet connection is off. I tried reaching out for Reliance customer care (180030007777). But, apparently none responded as the phone line never diverted me to the operator. Some how I reached out for their Mumbai call centre (I was charged for the call) and registered the complaint. Some technician called me up for once and I confirmed with him that my network connection is dead. Since then, either the technician or the company turned up to solve my issue. From then onward, every week I’ve been calling them and getting the same old reply that some issues with the wiring and they’ve escalated my complaint. Whenever I reach out for the customer care, I’m getting the same reply from May 10. Apart from these, I never received either a hard copy or an e-copy (till April) of my internet bills despite of my repeated requests to these guys, which I’m entitled to. Also, I was never a defaulter in paying my usage bills.

If the company would’ve told me that they would need so much of time, I would have migrated to another service provider. Even today, if I call them they are giving me irrelevant/false reasons about my connections and still not sure about revoking the connection. The only relief I want from this authority is that, give me the exact reasons for non-working of the internet connection with definite time frame of completion of the damages caused (the wiring issue as told to my neighbor). Even after giving specific reasons and deadlines of revoking the connection, still if they didn’t activate my services, I need benefits such as such as providing a dongle on the company’s expenditure till the broadband services are revoked.
