Retail Price Charges Higher

The information label on the box indicates maximum retail price per box Rs. 35/-. Unit of Candles is printed as 4 and 6 on the label. However on the sides of the box “2 CANDLE” is rubber stamped. Inside the box there are only 2 candles and the retail shop is selling at Rs. 30/- for 2 candles. When I told him that there are only two candles inside, he says the changed information is stamped outside. However, no change in the price is stamped. When I contacted the helpline given on the box they say the label was wrongly printed and they are selling on whole sale at a price of Rs.15/- for 2 candles. When I insisted, the retail shopkeeper gave me back Rs.10/- thus two candles costing Rs. 20/-.

I want that I should get back the extra amount I paid from the actual price and should be compensated for the time and efforts spent by me. The retail shop owner and the Manufacturer should be punished as per the relevant Consumer Acts/Rules, and the common Consumer should be made aware of these types of exploitations.
