Samsung – Dead Handset

purchased a SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 3 , on November 23, 2013 ( 9 DAYS BACK) in chandigarh. Right from first day, it was showing low battery backup. When i asked about it at an outlet of a company in delhi ( I work in delhi), they said it need to upgrade the software as its an old piece with old software. But before i could get it updated, the handset became COMPLETELY DEAD on the night of November 30 ( Just on 7th day of my purchase). Service centre of Samsung remains closed on sunday. On monday when i went to their service centre in Mayur Vihaar- Phase 1, they didn’t entertain me properly and head of the service centre misbehaved. They kept my handset but I want a new handset because a defective handset was sold to me My whole data got lost. I am very much stressed and frustated right now.. Please help me.

I WANT MY HANDSET TO BE REPLACED WITH A NEW HANDSET. The handset became dead with in 7 days of it purchase. I have done nothing with it except clicking some photographs and making calls. I have not even activated Internet on it. In any condition, i want the HANDSET TO BE REPLACED WITH A NEW HANDSET.
