Samsung – Defective mobile supplied – Review

To, The Managing Director, Samsung India Pvt Ltd. Sub: Defective mobile supplied, wants refund immediately. Dear Sir, I want bring my grievance under your notice that I have been cheated by your company by supplying defective mobile handset. I have purchased Samsung Tab 3 product sr no: 359846052420539 from Reliance Digital Koram Mall Outlet Thane on 08/06/2014 for Rs 22792/-. From day 1 we are facing recharge issue in this mobile handset. We have to switch it off & on again for doing recharge. Since we both were out of station we approach service centre Micro Services Thane +(91)-22-25436500, 25437500 (Maharashtra) on 21/06/2014. On inspection of my handset they told us that they have to replace the whole mother board, this problem cannot be solved otherwise, I have approached Mr. Jatin (owner of service centre), he was very kind enough to help but when I have asked him to replace the set as it is new one, he told me that it is difficult, as per policy it can be done only within 7 days of purchase, & in my case it has already been 12 days. I am not agreeing for replacing mother board within 12 days of my purchase. Mother Board is the most important part & it shows that the set supplied to me is defective from start only. I hereby request you to please issue me refund for the said amount & take the handset return back failing which I have to approach District Consumer Forum under Section 11 of the Consumer Protection Act states: Reg Pranav Jha 9819776xxx
