Samsung Mobile – Dead-refuse to refund or replace

I am G. Thiruppathi from Chennai. This is to bring your notice in regards to the experience which I’m facing with Samsung mobile. I purchased a Samsung handset (Galaxy Core 2) Model Name: SM-G355HZWDINS) for Rs.7800 on 20th October, 2014 at Reliance Retail Limited, Saidapet, Chennai-600015. With in 2 days I experienced problem with the mobile. The mobile is get Switched off automatically. The 5th day the mobile got switched off permanently. Since I was busy with my work schedule, I happened to bring it to retailer’s notice on 31st October 2014. To my surprise, they said that the mobile is having a warranty only for 7 days, wherein they promised one year replacement warranty when I purchase the mobile on 20/10/2014. Helpless statement contradictory, Reliance Store directed me to Samsung Service Center for resolution. Then I visited Samsung Service Center (No.0004211567, Ascent Enterprise, Chennai-35) on 01/11/2014, they repeated the same statement that the warranty is over. However they dropped the mail to the seniors & asked me to contact them after 2 days. Again when i visited on 04/11/2014, they said there is a burnt damage in mother board of the mobile & asking me to pay Rs.6,364 to replace the mother board. I contacted the Customer Care Nos (180030008282, 18002668282) and shouted my issue from 04/11/2014 onward. Through multiple interactions, I spoke to many including Team Leaders, Managers, but the issue is still open and they saying they can’t help it. Last night I asked for CEO’s E-Mail I.D for the escalating the issue, but they didn’t give me any specific e-mail id. So I logged into www.samsung.com/in and registered my complaint through their direction in a written format as there. I want refund of money (Rs.7,800) I spend for the mobile. I also seek compensation for mental stress and affect of my office work.
