SBI – poor service Employees Involvment

Recently I lodged an online complain with the banking ombudsman of RBI about the counterfeit note (Rs 1000), I withdrew from State Bank of Mysore (Mathikere, Bangalore) ATM on 14th of this month. On the morning of 17th Sept I got a call from some MOHAN KUMAR (Mobile # +91-9632167485), posing to be a State Bank of Mysore employee, to refund me the Rs. 1000. In the due conversation he gave me a call from the SBI Customer Care (+9180-26599990) [call waiting], to assure me that it is the call from the bank. I am amused that he had my card number & cvc code. He assured me that the amount will be deposited to my account by 1130 Hrs today (17/09/2013). To my suspicion when I checked my balance, Rs 3750 had been deducted from my account, & I am left with a balance of only Rs. 240. When I called up the number, from which I got the call (Mobile # +91-9632167485), they produced their helplessness over the matter. Now, my issue is how come a person have access to the banking ombudsman mails, & if has access, how did I get the call from the bank customer care (+9180-26599990). Now the Bank is pledging their helplessness over the issue, citing the customer to be responsible for the matter. This I suspect is the involvement of some bank employee. But the customer is always at the receiving end. How can someone have access to Bank’s ombudsman mails & how someone can make calls to customers from Bank’s Customer care phone number. Sir, I request you to look into the matter & solve the issue. Thanking You, Faithfully. SITAKANTA MOHAKHUD A/C# SB/30049416715 Branch: SBI, Lewis Road Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Mobile: +91-7829837300

As this is a sort of cyber-crime, and it is possible to trace & track the culprit, needful needed to be done to stop this short of acts. And bank should not share the secret data of customers with others & strict vigil should be maintained.
