In the start of February 2013, I visited State Bank of India, Delhi Cantt, New Delhi 46 branch and asked them that I did not receive CTS 2010 format cheque book and they told me that it will be reached to me by 15th Feb 2013 and to wait till then and I go back and wait till 15th. When I did not receive the cheque book till 15th I visit the same branch again and asked for the cheque book and they told me to wait till 25th Feb, and same happens again and cheque book was not delivered to me by promised date but this time I wait much longer and visit the branch on 9th March 2013 and asked for cheque book. Then the person told me that it has been returned to bank undelivered. When I asked the person details about the cheque book sent like when it was sent, when they get the undelivered information then the person said very rudely that he is not the person from postal office who is going to tell me all this information. When I asked him that if it is undelivered then please hand over it to me right now in person as I am here to collect it then he said NO, it will be send by post only. This time the person asked me to fill the first page of my old cheque book and to submit it at bank, when I asked him that is it mandatory to fill this he said yes it is mandatory to fill to have new cheque book. on this answer when I asked him if this is mandatory to fill in then why it was not told me first time when I visited the branch in Feb 2013, then on this question he said to me “In Faaltu sawaalo ka koi Jawab nahi hai mere paas, yahi procedure hai” When I asked whether I can request online for cheque book, on this he said “Kar do, par cheque book aayegi nahi jab tak hame first page sign karke nahi doge” My main concern to write all this here is as because this is not the first incident of bank officials when they misbehave or procrastinate their work.

I want some point clear from bank Why bank official always procrastinate work. Why they did not give receiving to persons (for any document) if they are looking for. Why I was not informed by bank official about filling up the first page of cheque book and submit it to bank when I visited the bank in Feb.
