Shoppers Stop – No Customer Care for Exchange of Product

I have been a member of Shoppers Stop for almot 10 years now and have never faced any issue. However, on 13th September, 2014 (Saturday) I had visited your Shoppers Stop outlet at Viviana Mall, Thane, for exchange Shirt and Pant of my Son which was gifted to him by my father. My Father had purchased around 7 to 8 products of worth Rs.8000/- plus on 23rd August, 2014 from Shoppers Stop outlet at Inorbit, Malad.

I did not have the bill of the products however, the tags were intact. The staff of Viviana mall informed me that bar code of the Pant (Ruff Kids Brand) which I was requesting for exchange was not available in their system, however, the amount matched in the bill with some other bar code of Naughty Nutty brand. I had provided all the requisite details such as the name, number and contact details of the Credit Card Holder. But only one standard reply was given that the bar code did not match. I requested the staff to check with the Malad – Inorbit outlet but no support from them.

Please advise, how come your malad – inorbit outlet would allow us to carry the product even without billing the product and removing the censor pin? While receiving the payment nobody talks about the bar code, however while exchanging the product all formalities are to be completed.

With high regards to your company, we had never expected this kind of service.

The products which I want to exchange is worth Rs.1500/-.

Do you expect my father, who is 70 years old to travel all the way to Malad – Irobit mall just for exchanging the product.

Please look into the matter and arrange to exchange the products at the earliest.
