Purchased Gionee Elife E7 mobile for Rs 26200 from Snapdeal on 24 Apr 2014 and received faulty product for which i returned the handset to Gionee Authorised Service Centre : Gods Gift,Khar West, Mumbai on 30th April for new replacement as per their 7 day replacement policy . After 15 days on 14th May after consistent followup,I received a Delivery Order reference number from Gods Gift Centre required to get my new handset from my seller Snapdeal. But Snapdeal insisted that as per their policy they require Original Delivery Order Letter from Gionee to give me replacement. There was absolutely no support or guidance from the Authorised Service Centre or Snapdeal on getting the Original DO Number after the faulty set was already delivered to Gionee. Hence, after some 1000 followups with Snapdeal/Gods Gift Service Centre, I started following up with Gionee themselves and received original Delivery Order on 18th June (almost 2 months). Post which on the same day I emailed over the soft copy in PDF format to Snapdeal. Then on 19th June, Snapdeal again insisted that an email of Original Delivery Order is not sufficient and they require a hard copy of DOA (Delivery Order) and they will arrange a reverse pick-up of it within 48 hours. But even after 3 days no reverse pick-up was done, so i called up Snapdeal on 21st June evening to inquire where the same reply was given that it would take some more time to arrange reverse pick-up. Due to which i told them that since it is almost 2 months now with no Expected Turn Around time provided to resolve my issue, pls refund my money and i dont require the handset. To this Snapdeal said that they will initiate the refund process only after getting the hard copy of the letter thru their reverse pick-up courier service within 48 hours. But now it is more than a week but no update on the DO letter reverse pickup. Hence my refund is also stuck up. I am a salaried person and since 2 months i am without my phone even after making complete payment to Snapdeal almost 2 months back. My professional relationships are suffering and even my personal contacts are not in touch. Snapdeal is using my money since last 2 months now (23rd April to 28 June today) and just in the name of their internal policy delaying my refund. Please help me in getting my refund and take strict action against both Snapdeal/Gionee so that they don’t play with their customers hard earned money/trust and they take consumers seriously.
Firstly : Immediate Refund of the cost of the handset Rs 26200 paid to Snapdeal while purchasing Gionee Elife E7 Mobile Phone form snapdel.com online Secondly : Financial Expenses incurred by me in making constant calls to Gionee, Snapdeal and their Authorized Service Centre Gods Gift . Physical travelling each time to Gods Gift Service Enter, Khar (W). Sum of Rs 4000-5000. Thirdly : Mental Torture and stress on account of no phone on account of Rs 26200 lying with Snapdeal.com for past 2.5 months… Appropriate compensation as deemed fit by your Consumer Complaint Management Control Panel.
