Samsung – Defected product sale replacement denied

On 23.06.14, I purchased your mobile set Model GT-S 5282 black from Mobile world, Sheikhpura Patna 800014. The mobile set from beginning was not showing tower. I thought that the problem was with sim card as the mobile set is new. I replaced the sim but when this new Sim was also not showing tower, I again complained to the service providers. When they checked they found that the problem was not with the SIM but with the set itself.In the meantime, I also found that the battery got discharged within 8 hours even though the mobile set was in standby. I asked the retailer to replace my Molbile set as only 2 days back, I had purchased the set & was visiting twice to get the problem detected.The retailer advised me to visit the nearby Service centre A. K. services Patna 800014 to get the D.O for replacement. I visited the service centre for the same but they straight away refused to do the same & said that they can only repair the set. Please note that I took no time in filing complaint after I came to know about the defects in the mobile set & this has been done within 3 days of purchase. You would agree with me that I had paid for purchasing a new set in good condition & not for a repaired mobile set. Under the circumstances, I feel myself cheated & dissatisfied wit he the service & behaviour of your service centre manager of A.K. Services. I request you to please redress my complaint & replace a new mobile set in good condition in stead of providing me a repaired mobile.
