SnapDeal Shopping – Refund Delayed

This is regarding an online order I placed on snapdeal.com. The Order ID: 11547 161207. The product –V-Guard VG 400 Voltage Stabilizer for AC upto 1.5 ton — was faulty and I initially asked for a replacement. Following is the case history: 1. Snapdeal team didn’t agree to pick it up from home since — per them it was outside coverage. My parents who were elderly couldn’t and my request was turned down. 2. Snapdeal sent two addresses for return causing confusion one of Delhi other of Hyderabad. We had to follow-up to get right address 3. Sent the product back via ICL courier: AWB: 16495330 4. The warehouse didn’t accept and nobody knew the reason why; it was returned back to ICL courier 5. Asked again the Snapdeal to pick it up from ICL courier; nobody did; called multiple times and escalated but false promises of pickup in 48 hrs every time 6. Finally fed up, I asked for refund which they said they will process via ticket# 19443759 7. No refund till date; initiated the return on 14 Feb and till 9 March they expect us to call time and again with no resolution.

Non-functional AC because of faulty stabilizer 2. A total of INR 1685 of the stabilizer and INR 200 for courier heldup 3. Additional pain of asking my retired parents to courier the faulty product 4. Phone calls to the customer care team and mails to follow-up; waste of more than 4 hours of time 5. Mental trauma and insensitivity of their customer support staff and managers
