This complain is regarding poor service and damage caused to my check in baggage in spite of telling the check in staff that it is fragile and what it contains. They have put sticker and assured that nothing will happen. Because we purchased a marble chess table top which was very costly and came from JAIPUR to Ahmedabad by SPICEJET Flight on same day. But when we checked the material on arrival we see that it is broken in three parts, we can’t understand how this is possible, in spite of fragile sticker. All details related to the baggage is mentioned below. Package – marble chess table Fragile sticker placed – Yes Declaration of material at the time of check In – Yes Flight Number – SG 913 From Jaipur to Ahmedabad Departure time – 17:10 pm Date – 16 June 2013 Now airline customer care have refused to listen and saying that it is not their responsibility as we have signed on the back of the baggage sticker. How can they run away from their responsibility of baggage handling??
Replace the marble piece or reimburse the amount. I have photos and video of package when it was opened
