Good morning, Please see brief regarding my complaint below: May13 – I paid Rs.5,00,000 (via ICICI Bank online transfer) in 3 installments (1L, 2L, 2L) to Excel Dwellings business account (then known as SRR Homes pvt ltd). I paid this amount towards a villa plot as initial deposit. Nov14 – Due to their continuous false promises and communication gaps, I cancelled the plot and requested for a refunded. They kept delaying the matter promising refund next month (this continued until Mar15). Mar15 – Builder company issued two post-dated cheques (dated 15th Apr15 and 30th Apr15). One of the cheques has bounced due to insufficient funds in their bank account. The second cheque has been deposited and is yet to be cleared (should take 4-5 working days). To sum up my experience with the staff members at the Excel Dwellings, they are delaying refund by making excuses at all times. Hence I am writing to you seeking your help in this matter. Economic damage – Rs. 5,00,000 + 18.5percent interest payable each month since Jun13 Physical damage – I have spent days looking for court procedures to deal with this matter; spending a lot of time finding a lawyer who could suggest me regarding this matter; been through a lot of stress and have missed my personal career goals.
