I had purchased a pineapple cake 250 gm on 20.06.2015 Star Bazaar having green dot on the label on the pack. After returning home I was shocked to find out just before opening the packet to consume it that the ingredients contained EGG and even after that it had the green dot on it indicating it is a vegetarian product.

I being a Jain would not indulge in consuming a thing containing egg so I have lost my Rs.40 because of Star Bazaar‘s mistake. It is a violation of food safety standards. It also puts a question mark on whether other Companies are also doing such mistakes and misleading us into buying wrong products.
