A group of people are selling products like bed sheets with the fake company name- style shop. A girl contacted me and said I have been selected as a lucky customer as I shop from star CJ and other sites. The name of start CJ was taken purposely as I do shop from them and for the same reason I did not doubt them. She offered me with a package of 8 pure cotton bed sheets with a silver coin, a clutch and a coupon for further shopping on star CJ and other similar sites, in rupees 3000. I was ensured that I can exchange or return the package if needed. They were strictly avoiding opening of the package before getting money. The packet was bought and I only found eight extremely poor quality bed sheets. It was only five minutes to the delivery and I contacted the delivery person but he always cut my call. When I called back to the person who called me for the offer and cross checking my address, they first make false time promises and later changed their identity saying they work for some other company. However, via true caller I Could figure out that two of the members who called me as courier guys may be related because their numbers are registered as ankit jain and Rahul jain. The girl who first contacted me was marked as spam by around twenty people. Also I am provided with the 8 bed sheets out of thirty odd options means that are doing it on a bigger scale. I also figured out later that all their names, company name, address, Web address are fake and they sell different products to people using their information from their trusted shopping sites. As in my case they have my perfectly right address and referred to star CJ again and again as I buy products from them.The girl who first contacted me initially introduced me as Bhavana from style shop and called me from the number 9266660xxx, she sent me options of bedsheets on whats app from the number 8750746xxx, the person who arranged the delivery called from 9212152xxx, the person who delivered the packet called from 9212130xxx, another one who called as delivery boy called from 9212130xxx. The guys who came as deliver boys introduced themselves as delivery boys without any personal names and also there was no courier company involved in the process, It is then clear that the persons calling and delivering are a group working together. The number that was used to send me the bed sheet options on whats app, still contains bed sheet as its profile picture and the girl is often seen online.
I simply want to return the product and get my money back. As I know know that these people are certainly doing this cheating to many others quite actively, I do not want them to do this to other people. I could figure out that they are selling other such things with different company names. Also, I am afraid that they use my details for any wrong purpose. Hence, they should be punished for this. Please act fast before they change their numbers because their numbers are only way to reach them. These people might straight away deny that they do any such business if contacted, as they did to me, so in my view they can only be caught if contacted as a customer who would like to purchase the eight bed sheet packet pretending that the group contacted him or her few days back. please get back for more details. I have chosen random brand name (one shop…..ltd) in order to complete the forma and submit my complaint. Please find attached the bill that is given to me.
