r/sir i am the unfortunate customer with customer id no – 1211194. product–shvop ,no of points–700, holidays entitlement month– feb 2015, membership period–25 years. product cost-rs. 209475.00 down payment of rs.24184.00 has been done by cheque no- 272291 dated- 03/08/2013, which is drawn by axis bank. my emi amount is rs. 5384/- and emi due date is 07/09/2013. due to urgent needs and unavoidable circumstances i could not continue with the sterling holidays and applied for a refund from the company of rs.24184/- as soon as possible. it has been 2 months and i have not received the refund. i have also become very disappointed and has given up hope as i feel i have lost my money to thieves. i have tried everything in my capacity to get them to refund the money, lots of emails and tons of painful calls everyday but to no avail. these guys promised, the representative who came to my house with promises of moon that if i dont like it i may get the refund any time. since last 2 months now they have been making fool of me and saying that they are “managing”/ trying”/ “doing their best” and similar crap. i have only this last respite now where i have a flicker of hope that consumer forum will be able to help me now. these unprofessional and unethical people only know lots of English for making fool of common man. their reply is going to be a standard ” sorry for inconvenience”. i feel like i should kick somebody whenever these people use this sweet language to trick hard-working people. such bad service, looting money from Indians, this company should be banned. we were 18 of us together who voluntarily let them steal away our money and all of us are suffering. even i may not get my money, it is my earnest advice to all fellow travellers..stay away from sterling holidays. and this thing i am also going to mention in all the other travel forums. from now on, myself and all 18 of us will post the truth of your company on all available forum on-line and offline, so that you are not able to make fool of any more innocent people like us. stay away from sterling holidays if you don’t want to find yourself without clothes in chill winters. this is a big scam company.if you have any shame left, do return my money as soon as possible

i want the entire money back – rs 24184 + additional 30% minimum, for delaying the case, keeping me hanging for so long, harassing me, taking my peace of mind, for making a fool of me by fraudulent marketing
