I must say airtel has a very poor customer care service and the customers are befooled by not their filing complaints,or by not answering to their calls,or by telling them different fake stories.
Without any prior notification,the call rates have been changed on my mobile number since 26.12.2011.
I have been calling at 198 since 26th.Every customer care executive tells me a different story regarding why the call rates have changed and everytime i am asked to hold the line and then they cut the line themselves.Instead of deducting Rs.3.4, straightaway Rs.20 were deducted from my account on 26th.After that only Rs.4 were remaining in my account.I had to make some important calls at that time but i couldn’t due to such a less amount of balance remaining in my account.I am really disappointed and am planning to buy another connection’s mobile number(probably aircel)
