TATA AIG has renewed my motor insurance for 3 years even though the registration had expired. When a claim was made in May 2014, then pointed this out. I promptly renewed the registration by paying the required penalty but TATA-Aig refused to pay the full settlement amount of Rs. 7232. They agreed to pay only 75% of the settlement amount (Rs. 5424). My complaint is that TATA Aig has no authority to penalize me in this regard.

I have not received the full settlement amount since the settlement was computed in July 2014. My money is held up at TATA Aig unfairly. I demand relief of the full settlement amount of Rs. 7232 along with interest at 18% pa from July 2014 till the date of payment.
