I am Ritu Raj Sharma. Shamefully i have to say that our country’s prestigious company TATA TELECOMMUNICATION cheated me.
I purchased a Tata usb modem (12×1280 manufactured by Epivally Company). They sold it by assurance of country wide services. From the very1 week i faced problem in its functionality (like Usb not recognized, error in connectivity etc.). But somehow i managed it for two months. After 2 months I was in Indore, there it was not working at all so I claimed for new because it was under warranty. For that TATA people used to say that it was a problem of modem manufacturer and vise a versa from Epivalley service center. After all ( in 15 days) somehow I got certificate from manufacturer for get it replaced from TATA Telecommunication. Then Tata Indore denied replacing and i was told to approach Tata jaipur only. Mean while i spend 200 Rs. as phone bills to talk to Tata jaipur. This was there country wide service.
Here is not the end of story dear reader,
After 1 Month I came to Jaipur. Then Tata true value shop (purchase center) told to wait for 1 month. So I had to go to company office, they did it within 6 days. But they again cheated me by giving me a type of CDMA instrument (In CDMA you cannot change your connection, you are bound with a SIM only) while they should have given GSM. It was like that I gave a GSM cell phone for a company to replace and they gave me back a CDMA cell phone. They changed my Product.

After making me completely frustrated in those 2 months, They asked me to pay for those 2 months bill, where i did not use their services. I was charged 1500 Rs. for simply nothing. One more interesting thing, they were charging me one month charge for 13 days only. They said that Our billing is being done on 7 day of month and you purchased a modem on 26 April, so you are liable to pay one month bill( 750 Rs.) for 26 April to 7 May.
Now you must be thinking that- Just throw that TATA USB MODEM and get out of this ****. Yes, certainly i did the same
But what should i do when there persons come to my home to collect money for their service of TATA USB MODEM. We say that PHOTON/ PHOTON PLUS Etc.
So dear reader I have enough proves of that agony. But unfortunately i do not have time to go to the consumer forum. I want services Please forward/ mail this message to all your well wishers.
Yes one more thing i forgot to say you that, right after 1 month of this TATA PHOTON problem I got demotion from my company because my job was Digital Marketing. Here you can easily understand relation this demotion because Internet was vital for my job.
