Tata DoCoMo Broadband Slow in Jalandhar

As per the prescribed postpaid plan, I’m supposed to get Tata DoCoMo 2G unlimited internet after consuming 1Gb 3G net. However, the speed that I’m receiving is 1Kb in 2-3 seconds as against a general 2G speed of 32-42 Kb/s. I’ve talked to customer care representative 5-6 times and technical staff. I did everything they asked me to do. I cleared cache memory, cookies, browsing data, switched off phone for few minutes, installed new settings on phone, tried using opera mini instead of chrome as it uses less data but nothing helped. The speed is annoyingly slow on all other applications as well. I’ve had an experience of using 2G on this phone and this is nothing like that. I’m getting a symbol of “E” and not “H+”. Surprisingly, when I was on 3G, data transmission never worked when “3G” symbol appeared. Rather it worked when “H+” appeared.

This is the first time I had applied for postpaid plan but it sounds like a bluff. It feels like they deliberately reduce internet speed so the consumption reduces. I’ve been struggling with this speed since few days now. It takes like an hour to download 1Mb file. I had patiently waited to talk to technical staff when customer care representative had put me on hold for 10-12 minutes but even she couldn’t help me.

I want what I had prescribed for. I want 2G internet speed. I also want to know what speed they have allowed and what they were supposed to allow. None of the customer care staff told me about the speed allowed to me but did mention the general allowed speed. If I do not receive the speed, I want my money back.
