Tata Indicom – Failure to convey billing details

I have been using TATA DOCOMO service since 2011. I had been to TATA DOCOMO mandeveli chennai branch to close all outstanding amount and suspend the connection as I have permanently moved to Singapore .They took the request and said no more outstanding amount pending on my end. I was living in Singapore and had visited the store to close all outstanding balances during my trip to India . The customer service executive was sure that there is no outstanding balance and the service was closed. But I was surprised to see a lawyer notice saying I have not paid Rs.927, this amount has been generated which the customer care executive never informed. Let’s not spare him at this point , the worst case was I am in Singapore now and made all arrangements to pay the outstanding which the executive has failed to mention after seeing this notice from the lawyer. Now I have received a court order asking me to appear in the court for failure of payment of Rs.927, even after making the payment .

I would never suggest this service for anyone . Due to the lack of the information by the officers, i am undergoing mental trauma in a different country.
