Taxi for sure – Negligent & Rash Driving

I was coming back from Singapore & wanted to book a taxi for a pickup from Airport to Ittamadu. Me & my friend decided to get an online taxi & booked a taxi with taxi for sure vide booking ref. C12576842, vehicle number KA 05 AD 5519, Driver Name Sathisha & his contact number is 914145xxx.While coming from Airport, on the way at the toll gate the driver refused to pay the toll fees in spite of our request to pay toll, he refused & banged the barrier of the toll gate. By virtue of this, my luggage which was kept on the carrier above the car fell down. He was in such a speed that, i could not realize that my luggage fell down. After reaching almost near Hebbal, i realized that one of our luggage must have fell down, because there was only one luggage of my friend was there & it was moving from here & there.I realized that my luggage must have fell down there at the toll gate and asked the driver to go back to the toll gate, but the driver refused to go back to the toll gate with the fear of toll officials might catch him, Finally i convinced him to go to the toll & there he first refused to bring the car near the toll. My friend went to the toll officials to ask for the luggage & refused to check and put a demand that, if we bring the driver who did the damage then only they will allow us to look at the CCTV footage of the toll. With lot of efforts we made driver to be present before the toll officials, the driver accepted the mistake.We thought of giving police complaint, but on humanitarian ground (as the taxi was the one and only way for his bread & butter) we let him go. Finally, the toll officials agreed to show us the footage of the camera but of no use because of the car speed it was not clear whether the luggage fell down there or not. We could not find the luggage there. After that, my last ray of hope to get the luggage also extinguished. All my clothes, money, materials which i shopped there, all gone. I called taxi for sure customer care except sympathy & some harsh words i didn’t get any remedy. when i asked the driver to reimburse the value of my luggage he told he will try to pay the money. But after that, i didn’t see him till today. Phone not reachable. I again called customer care with a small hope that i can get the address of the driver to be in touch with him to get the reimbursement for what he has done. With this call, i came to know another face of the Taxi for Sure. For them, the drivers are more important than the customers. After wasting almost 30 minutes of my time over the phone talking to their executive Ms. Parvathi, i got the answer that, we can’t provide the details of the driver you can do whatever you want as taxi for sure is not responsible for customer luggage. The big thing to worry about is; These people are so protective for their drivers, because they earn for taxi for sure & the customers who pay for all these are fools to laugh at. My concern is, suppose one of their driver

For all the trouble & tension i have been gone through, either Taxi for Sure or the driver has to compensate me a minimum amount of 75,000 (Rs. 50,000.00 for the trouble caused & 25,000.00 for the items which i have lost)
