On 17/11/2013, I had paid Rs. 14999 online, while I speaking to a representative at the call center, who confirmed receipt of payment and that the plan (Unifi 14999) had been activated. The payment receipt was also reflecting on their website. I was then sent a mail by Tikona that the plan was not activated as they had not received the payment, and that they were unable to reach me. I wrote to them that the payment was already reflecting on their website, that their representative had already confirmed the plan change (this fact would be available in their call log). Later, I found that instead of activating the plan, they had used the amount to charge me on a volume basis. Their explanation was that they did not activate the plan as they were unable to speak to me. Being unable to reach me – in spite of my telling them that I am not reachable as I was overseas – can be no excuse for not delivering me the product that I had paid for in advance in full. In spite of repeated follow up they have refused to make any amends. I expect that the package I paid for should be activated, and any volume I have used since may be debited from it.
