had placed an order on the website on 7th Nov 2012 for a Micromax Canvas 2 A110 Mobile Phone with order number 10350404. The delivery time quoted was 3 weeks. I waited for 3 weeks and when I did not receive the product I called and was asked to wait for another 3-4 working days. I did not receive the product and after many follow ups I called to cancel the order. For some reason my cancellation request was never processed and today I was finally told to email Payal (no last name provided) about this as you are responsible for cancellations. Here are the details of the calls that I have made in Nov/Dec and the responses on these calls Wasim – Asked me to wait for another 3-4 working days Anju – Said the cancellation system in the concerned department was down and will take 15 days to start working again Priya – Said the system was still down Wasim – I called on 17th Dec. He called himself Wasim Akram. Was not willing to listen to me or take down my request for the cancellation. Eventually I had to be very firm and only then did he provide me with a cancellation number (59064),said will take 48 hours and then hung up on me when I asked for a supervisor. Naina – Called on 20th Dec. She said the cancellation had not gone through and to wait another 48 hours. She also now told me that the product was out of stock. Annie – I called today and the order was still not cancelled. She committed that she would take care of this and to wait for 3-4 working days. She asked me to email Payal to put in an official request. I asked what happens if the order will does not get cancelled. She said that I need to call back and ask to be transferred to her.
When I asked for a supervisor to get tell the same, she disconnected Panah – I called back and got Panah on the line. I asked her to transfer me to Annie and was surprisingly informed that you did not have the facility to transfer among agents which is exactly the opposite of what Annie told me. When I asked Panah for a supervisor she put me on hold and then disconnected the line. The order was finally cancelled on 31st Dec 2012 and order satus changed to Pending Refund Payment. The time quoted for the refund was 7-10 working days. I called Aditya today and was given the number for the billing department to check further (01204267286) but is impossible to get through
