mr. Rajesh of shopping India times on 20.04.2015 regarding the non-receipt of invoice for the ordered product television under order no.3001361560, dated 10/11.08.2012. the 42 inch television (lcd) under model no.40pb20ze & serial no.b51y61jooo12k1 with warranty period for 3 years was received in august 2012. the television (lcd) set was commissioned and demonstrated. subsequent august/September 2014 the set went out of order and not functioning. a complaint was lodged with Toshiba service center, secundrabad. mr. venkat (mobile no.9848794xxx) visited pawmencap (an institute for the special education, training & rehabilitation of mentally handicapped children) and found the picture tube of the set to be out of order. when we requested for the replacement of picture tube under the warranty assurance, he looked into the warranty card which is for 3 years. he asked for the invoice which the supplier m/s.shopping india times did not send. we conveyed the same to mr. venkat who advised to ask the supplier to send the same. we addressed ms. lavanya of shopping india times through e-mail: onlinehelp@timesinternet.in on 25.04.2015 & ms. kasturi of shopping india times on 12.05.2015 who communicated the registration of case id no.2006593 promising to send the invoice with in 2 days. but we did not receive the invoice till date. we requested toshiba service center to kindly replace the picture tube of the tv set to restore the satisfactory functioning for the sake of the entertainment of the mentally handicapped persons through e-mail:cpcare@toshibaindia.com to mr. siva prasad on 20.04.2015, to ms. rachana joshi on 22.04.2015 replying to her e-mail dated 21.04.2015, to ms. naincy rathore on 29.04.2015 replying to her e-mail dated 29.04.2015. ms. naincy rathore replied us on 05.05.2015 through e-mail awarding the registered reference id no. tiplsr5g0007367 assuring that toshiba service engineer will visit pawmencap soon. since till 12.05.2015 toshiba service engineer did not visit us, we requested once again ms. naincy rathore & ms. rachana joshi to resolve the problem & restore satisfactory function of the television set. on 12.05.2015 we received an e-mail from mr.rohit jha to mail the invoice immediately. we place the order for the supply of 42 inches lcd toshiba television set & the received the same on 10/11.08.2012. the set was installed & commissioned. only the warranty card for 3 years and owners manual were handed over to us but not invoice. as many times we requested shopping India times to send either the original or the duplicate invoice of the set, but of no avail. even m/s.toshiba india pvt. limited personnel were also humbly requested to restore the smiles on the faces of the mentally retarded children; they did not attend the service of television set insisting for the invoice which was not sent to us by the supplier. the cost of the set was paid through hdfc bank credit card on online following
