I have a serious complaint regarding the services of a courier company. Name: Trackon Couriers Pvt Ltd. Place: New Delhi, Mukherjeenagar Docket no: 446703734 I had my courier from Delhi to Cuttack, Odisha. Despite being provided the pin code of the place( my University) they still accepted the courier and hence were bound by a contract to deliver the parcel there only. But even after constant demand the courier which was received by their Cuttack office on 22/04/2015, was not dispatched to me on pretext of it being out of service area.It is an established law of land under Indian Contracts Act, 1872 that if the party has not fulfilled the agreement then-1) It must try to fulfill its promise.2) If it is not able to then compensation for travelling, inconvenience and mental harassment caused to other party must be given.

I have suffered greatly due to this carefree and selfish attitude of courier company. I had to bear rs.500(round trip) and rs 100 as mobile expenses. Further I would like the authority to compensate me for mental agony and harassment caused to a student in terns of her study and career deciding examinations. At the least if the amount of compensation be rs 1000 then justice shall be done and it will be set as an example to such services who book the parcel for an address but later refuse to deliver it to the same causing much hardships for its consumers.
