UPSRTC – Cancellation bus ticket refund delayed

Dear sir, I have booked an online bus ticket through UPSRTC from Delhi to Lucknow on 1/10/2014. My ticket number is 2746437 and PNR number is XKNP1210011400008. On that day bus was cancelled and I sought refund from them. These are series of email I sent them: Me: Dear Sir, This is with reference to an e-ticket booked on 01/10/2014 via www.upsrtc.com I Manoj Kumar Singh (25 year) had booked an e-ticket to travel from Delhi to Kanpur (seat no. 32) costing to a total chargeable amount of Rs 379 only. On visiting the customer desk at Anand vihar ISBT, I was informed that the bus had been cancelled. Above all, there was no bus number mentioned on the e-ticket (e-ticket forwarded for ready reference). The above situation caused wastage of my precious time and money. Hence, you are kindly requested to refund the charged amount of e-ticket as soon as possible and further, mention the bus number on the e-ticket issued to the passengers. Hoping that the suggestion for mentioning the bus number on e-ticket will be incorporated as early as possible. Upsrtc:Please provide me ticket no or username. ME:My ticket number is 2746437 and PNR number is XKNP1210011400008. For more details, please find the attachment. Thanks to UPSRTC online booking team for your’s immediate response. Upsrtc: Please conformation bus was cancelled or not me: Me:I am very disappointed with your irresponsible service towards your costumer, I wrote several times to refund my amount (which I supposed to get due to cancellation of your bus), you people haven’t even replied, what is the status of my complaint, its been more than two months. If you would not take step immediately, the only option i am left with is to file RTI.

1. I want my money back. 2. I want to know why such discrepancies is happening.
