I have a VideoCon refridgerator model number VAP174 (170 litres) purchased from Jayanagar, Bangalore during January or February or March of 2012. Recently I had filed a complaint with the service centre customer care with complaint number BAN1506140007 regarding bad smell and no cooling. After chasing them and calling for one week every hour, they came to do the repair on Friday, 20th of June. They had changed the freezer box and refilled the cooling Gas for which they charged me Rs 2200/-. The fridge stopped working within a very few hours and then I the technician came on monday 23rd June. He said “when i was doing the repair, the piston got shaken and the compressor of the fridge is not working any more and has to be changed”. He said this will cost me Rs 4400+. I am shocked at this quality of service and now none of the after sales people are taking my calls. I spoke to every person possible but they are just working with the intention to cheat customers

I want the refrigerator to be replaced and/or compressor to be replaced along with the frames of the freezer box which is damaged by the service centre technician. To bring back the refrigerator in perfectly fine working condition with a guarantee for the next 6 months at least. Also, claim for damage of goods due to thier ignorance
