My mobile number 9911589xx with IDEA network had been in service since 2006. Vodafone called me on 14th Feb 2014 offering a cheap plan of Rs. 249 for Number portability. They promised me 800 lcal+std mins, 300 sms and 500MB monthly 3G data. I agreed and my number got ported to Vodafone on 21st but without the promised benefits. The plan that got active was for Rs.299 without the promised 500 MB monthly 3G data. I filed a complaint with Vodafone’s applet office, they said I have been misguided and can’t offer me any assistance. After some discussions, they said they will be paying for my 3 month internet bill as I cannot port out to any other network before the completeion of 3 months. Its 13th March today and no solution whatsoever has been provided to me. Vodafone is cheating people and acquiring numbers. Please address the issue and make sure they pay for the illegal practices vodafone follows to cheat people and acquire there numbers.

I want vodafone to be penalized for following such illegal practices throughout the country. They offer cheap plans for portabilty, subscriber often get stuck with them and they charge more money for using the numbers.
