Greetings! Sub: Mental harassment by Vodafone Company by raising Improper Bills & Disconnecting our No. (without prior notice) Ref: Mobile No. 9322500xxx I am using the above mentioned Vodafone No. since last 10 yrs now. Everything was going fine till 10 days back. I have started my International Roaming & moved out of India for 12 days (from 10th May to 22nd May 14). My Credit Limit is Rs. 5200/-. Suddenly I got a message on 12th May that my unbilled amount is Rs. 18764/-. Vodafone has also disconnected my no. for any services. I have not used any data or any call services. So, my bill cannot go even Rs. 3000/-. Our Question is that when my Credit Limit is only Rs. 5200/- then how come my bill shoot up to Rs. 18,764/-? (I have attached screenshot of the details as shown on My Vodafone Page for reference). We have called up Vodafone helpline no. 9820098xxx on 13th May but they said that they cannot help anything. They are saying that you first make the payment of Rs. 18764/- then only we will help you. Moreover the Telephone Executive was not even ready to take down my complaint. Then we have mailed to Vodafone Customer Care & Nodal Officer on 15th May (mail copy attached) but till date there is no reply from them. This shows that Vodafone is unnecessarily harassing us by raising improper bill & also have disconnected our no. for any further communication. Due to this, I am making huge losses in my business. I am feeling like a lost in the world (in other country) with Vodafone mobile in my hand which is behaving just like a showpiece. If this is the case then should I take India’s no.1 mobile operator when it just doesn’t support us when needed? First of all my bill should not go above my credit limit & secondly they should have given us alert about crossing my credit limit. Also, because of the disconnection of the services, there is a huge loss to me. Vodafone is not ready to take my complaint neither they are reverting to my emails. This all is creating a mental pressure & I am not able to concentrate on my work. Also, I am worried that if without using my bill is raised to sky height then what will happen if I use it. Hence, I as a Consumer, wants to appeal to various Forums, TRAI & DOT for the Protection of my Rights (as a consumer) & wants to sue Vodafone for this act. Also, direct them to resume my service on immediate basis. 1. Resolve this issue urgently. 2. Charge me only for what I have used & not inflated bill. 3. Resume my services immediately. 4. Compensate for the mental harassment that Vodafone has given me. 5. Compensate for the loss of my business opportunities.
