Hi, My postpaid number 9051660xxx was billed with roaming charges of Rs 69.50/- for the period 06/07/2014 to 05/08/2014, although I never went out of the state of West Bengal during that period. When inquired, the reply was: “With regard to your concern, we would like to inform you that Kolkata and West Bengal are to different circles and you have been charge as per the standard rates. As there are genuine and valid charges, we regret to inform you that, we are not in a position to pass credit.” Since I never went out of Bengal, its not acceptable that a person residing in Kolkata has to pay roaming charges even when he is residing in the same state.
