My son Sri VISHAL Das was got admitted at ICAT, Bangalore institute during 12-13 for B.A. (Game development) course during May 2012. Before admission a test was conducted by the college at Hyderabad. Before getting admission it was informed by the college authority that there is no examination for 1st /2nd year. only project is to be done as per college co-coordinator. Per year fees is 2, 000, 00. Total fees for whole course will be 6, 000, 00/- and the certificate will be issued by U.K. University i.e Wales University. . Before end date’2013 my son has submitted the final PROJECT report and it was confirmed by Rubina Madam( course co-ordinator). 3rd installment money was taken by college after verbal communication that VISHAL has completed 1st year. And in the 3rd receipt issued by the college, it is mentioned as 1st installment of 3rd semester (2nd year 1st installment)- 2nd Sept’2013 when VISHAL gone to college to attend 2nd year class than college staff have informed that he has failed in 1st year B.A. Course of “Game Design” and he has to continue in 1st year itself. • No communication to guardian or student regarding failure. • No registration with M/S wales university. • Reason of failure not known • Even after repeated reminder to the college by the guardian no reason given. • Since beginning of the course no official communication to the parents regarding performance of the student , except one which was given at the end of the corse. .
When I inquired from Wales University through mail. They confirmed that it is in the hand of college authority. Once college gives clearance of the student to us than only we issue pass certificate. Reply of the university against my quarry is with me. This information also given to college authority by the university. When I have asked the higher authority let me know the reasons of failure of the student. After repeated reminder and giving ultimate date to the authority. I have got the official reply from the controller of examination as follows:-:- 1) His attendance is poor 2) He has not submitted formative assignment and was absent 3) Late submission of Summative assignment. And some rules of the university. Through different name and mail I want to Know the following from the college as follows:- if i get admission institute which is having affiliation to your foreign university. Kindly clarify the following: 1) Is it six month semester system or one year semester system? 2) if any examination is there or only project is to be submitted? 3) if any student could not complete any subject in 1st year or semester is he allowed to attend 2nd year and subsequently he is allowed to write the incomplete subject along with 2 nd year subject? 4) After completion of ist semester are you giving university mark sheet. 5) What are the criteria to complete any semester, are you giving any chance to the student thing which require to complete the course without lose on semester, and in advance intimation about re- submit the project or any other as required. Till date they have not given any reply to the above question.
